BRIGHTON VS WATFORD PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL GAME PREDICTIONS.

BRIGHTON VS WATFORD = 2X

REASON FOR BRIGHTON VS WATFORD PREDICTION
  • Brighton have won just one of their last six Premier League home games.
  • Watford have avoided defeat in seven of their 10 Premier League matches since Nigel Pearson’s appointment.
  • Watford have lost just one of their last seven league away games against Brighton.
  • Brighton’s last two home games in the Premier League have ended 1-1.

Wins hard to come by for Brighton

Brighton may have pulled off an impressive comeback in their 3-3 thriller with West Ham last weekend, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that they missed out on the opportunity of a huge three points against the floundering Hammers, and that pretty much sums up the last few months for Graham Potter’s side.
The Seagulls are playing some very nice football at times under Potter, but they have still won just one of their last 10 Premier League games and now find themselves 15th in the table, just two points above the drop zone.
Their form does improve slightly at the Amex Stadium, but they have still only won four of of their 12 Premier League home games, and only one of those has come in their last six attempts.

Hope for Watford despite dip in form

Watford were on the receiving end of an epic comeback last weekend as they threw away a two goal lead in their 3-2 loss at home to Everton. This followed on from their defeat at Aston Villa to hand Nigel Pearson his first back-to-back Premier League defeats in charge of the Hornets.
This will be a slight concern for fans of the Hornets, but there’s no denying that Watford look a much better side under Pearson. They have won four, drawn three and lost three of their 10 league matches under his tutelage, going from a lost cause at the bottom of the table to being just two points adrift of safety.
The victories don’t come quite so readily when Watford are away from home, but they have avoided defeat in two of his four league away games in charge and they will fancy their chances of getting something out of this Brighton side.
